I am so glade to see you here. It means that it is not too late. Now is 2019, and I am one of the good friends of yours. You may not even know me at this time, but you will …

You don’t need to believe this, so, if I may ask, please put away your doubts and questions for the next few minutes and relax. You will enjoy reading the messages I brought with me. They are very important to you and many others. One day, when you see what I have seen, and live what I have lived, you will believe what I am going to tell you. It could be very different to what you are thinking or expecting …

Online Emotional Crisis Response System: (OECRS)

Online Emotional Crisis Response System (OECRS)

A Live/Instant Online Response System to handle emotional crisis has been implemented by Find Angel Inc.

Visitors come to the emergency section will be automatically connected to an Online Angel Volunteer for Live Help. At the same time, our Angel Volunteers can initiate an instant online conversation with any visitors in any sections of the web site.

The Online Emotional Crisis Response System (OECRS) has many advantages over traditional hotline service:

  • Low Cost – No crisis center and special transmission systems to operate.
  • Convenient - Trained Volunteers can provide help anywhere, anytime, with Internet Access.
  • Initiation – From Passive Help to Active Help!
  • Reusability – Good and common response can be reused for better efficiency.

However, the OECRS do have some limitation, such as difficulties in tracing accurate location of the source, availability only to Internet users, no vocal information, etc.
All of these make the OECRS the best supplement to existing hotline implementation.
We are actively looking for cooperation with other organizations in order to provide more training for our Angel Volunteers.

If you are in crisis, we strongly recommend you to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255). Through this toll-free phone number, they offer a network of crisis centers across the country. These centers staff their lines with people who are trained to listen and offer support to people in emotional crisis.

If you are in immediate medical crisis, please call 911.
