looking for an angel for christmas

Hi, My name is XXXXX. I am a very humble parent of 2 great children-Ashley (13) and Nick(11). I have worked hard for everything I own up until this year (believe me it is not much, but it is ours!) I do live in a low income area in Donora, Pa, in a very small and not so nice house but it will be ours someday and we make the best of what we have. We usually buy for children on the Angel Trees at Christmas but due to medical problems we will not be able to do that this year and even worse I cannot even buy for my own children.
In this crazy time where people are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for Grilled Cheese Sandwiches that look religious and Ghosts of someone's fathers on Ebay, I thought I might swallow my pride and ask those that have the heart and means to help, to possibly do so to make my children's Christmas something to be surprised about.
I can promise anyone that helps will receive a sincere thank you note from me and my children as well as a recipe for THE MOST DELICIOUS, BEST EVER, SOFTEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, sure to please! (and even if you can't or won't help and still would like the recipe, just email me and I will be glad to forward it to you.) Santa has always loved these cookies and they are our favorite! I promise they are addictive!!
I have worked my whole life until recently my back pain flared up so bad that I felt it was necessary to make a visit to the doctors only to find out I have Spina Bifida, 2 herniated discs and arthritis in my back. It is getting progressively worse and things I use to take for granted are not so easy. Mind you, I am only 34 years old and it is very difficult when you are losing control of bodily functions that are easy for others your age.
My ex-husband is a complete deadbeat and owes over $43,000, yes, forty three thousand dollars, in child support (if you would like a toll free number to call and verify, that is not a problem) So I am pretty sure you can guess how much help I get from him. He is constantly moving and working under the table to avoid getting arrested and being forced to pay. But without his help, I vow everyday to continue on, no matter how hard times get, to teach my children about strength and independence and perseverance. They are great kids, they don't ask for designer clothes "like their friends have." They skip going to their friends birthday parties and gatherings. We don't go to the movies or to Fast Food Restaurants and they truly do appreciate every little thing they have! They both do well in school (My son made the President's list at school last year for outstanding academic excellence and this year both of them made honor roll.) and they have great morals and values. I am not one of those parents who say ohhhhh I gotta get that for my child or they will die!!! Knowing that their children have everything else they ever wanted and that the $300 toy they want will not be appreciated! We are very modest and live within our means. I am just trying to make Christmas a little bit brighter before they get too old to enjoy it!
I would love to get my son a Sony PSP and a game and my daughter, I would love to get her the Esteban Gift of Guitar that has a guitar and a video lesson that teaches you how to play it or an electric guitar. That is what they would love for Christmas. Now as I am pretty sure that will not happen unless I hit the lottery and since I don't even have extra money for extras in life I can assure you that won't happen. But if anyone is generous enough to open their heart with a donation of any sort, clothes, gifts, gift cards, whatever you desire to send- I can assure you it would be greatly appreciated and not used for anything but Christmas for my children. I currently receive $393 in cash assistance and that just about covers my home and utilities, I don't have credit card bills or any other payments except my student loan which is on deferment due to financial hardship. So I can assure you anything received will be for Christmas, I don't do drugs and I do not drink!
If you do would like to send anything, I am not asking for anything new, used is fine. When we shop for clothes, its always at the thrift store anyway, so I can assure you they would love it! Please consider their ages 13 and 11. My son wears a size 12 or 14 in boys pants and a 14-16 in shirts or an x-large boys, small in men's. Shoe size is 7 men.
My son is very into football and sports so he would love anything sports related.
My daughter wears a size 14-16 in girls tops and a size 16 in bottoms . Also a size 0 (zero) or 1 or 3 in juniors or a small ladies. Shoe size is 6.5 in ladies.
She would like anything crafts or books or even teen cookbooks as she loves to read and make things.

As for myself, I would just like to see my children's eyes light up on Christmas because they truly do deserve it!! Also other thing we can use are household products, that food stamps do not buy-shampoo, laundry soap, toilet tissue, toothpaste, deoderant, feminine needs, etc. These things we use to take for granted and now are like luxury
items to us. Even if you have something, you did not like the scent of or just did not like in general sitting around, rather than throw it away, we would put it to use.
