May every day of life find you, when you rise in the morning, opening the windows of your soul to the sunlight. Even in winter the atmospere is impregnated with tiny atoms of invisible sunlight, and when you breathe deeply, consciously breathing in the sunlight of the Creator, you grow in wellbeing. You will also begin to become aware of the power of the invisible forces which you may contact. Learn to open yourself to the sunlight and purify your body so that you may contact the angelic influences.

The life that matters is all around you, in the flowers in your garden, in the little lizard sunning himself on the wall, in the children running merrily through the house, in the embracing lovers, in the places where friends gather.

Nothing is more important than these humble lives which, added together, make up humanity. The catastrophes which hang over us are of our own creation, and by an effort of will, they can be averted. Even if you are on the edge of a precipice you are not obliged to jump

There is always something beautiful to be found if you will look for it. Concentrate on beauty rather than the ugly and discordant. A positive, loving attitude toward life and people is all part of the divine magic. It will help you to perceive the divine presence and help you to put into operation the divine magic which heals.

Your spirit is part of the Eternal Spirit and all knowledge lies within you. In your meditation, go deep within and you will find the center of truth and of the infinite powers which await your use. You will touch the spring of all health and happiness. The way to truth is through the spirit. In the outer world is turmoil, chaos and unhappiness. You think with the mortal mind, the mind which is part of the substance of earth. Think with your inner mind. Approach problems through the inner self, the intuition. You are looking outside for help but the help you want is inside. The world of spirit is all within.

Love all creation, the whole and every grain of sand in it. Love every leaf, every ray of light. Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love. To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven. We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end.

Searching for a way of life
can be your richest accomplishment
involving all emotions
encompassing basic needs
not only for survival
but for the entire spectrum of love
lasting a lifetime

searching only for moments
of happiness and pleasure

leads to loneliness, despair
and small amounts of awareness of self.

If there is righteousness in the heart there will be beauty in the character. If there be beauty in the character, there will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation. When there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.
Seek world peace through righteousness.

There is only one thing to fear, and that is fear itself. Strive to overcome fear: fear of death, fear of life, fear of loss, fear of suffering. Never be afraid. The greatest enemy of humanity is fear. Be confident in the love and wisdom of the Eternal Spirit, and remember that if you go into shadow, darkness will not touch you if you are radiating light.

HAVE COURAGE!

There in the sunshine are your highest aspirations. You may not reach them, but look up and see their beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead.

All which happens through the whole world happens through hope. The natural flights of the human mind are not from pleasure to pleasure, but from hope to hope.

Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us. Keep your face always toward the sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you.
