help for the holidays
Detail Description:
my son has epilepsy and even befor that he has been hospitalized and had 2 surgeries since birth. He is now 8 years old and he is having seizures again.
since his health issues have kicked in it has been a little more stressful and worrisome. We are doing all that we can medically but it still does not let him be the happy little boy that he should be. I am ussually preety stonge but it has been a long 8 years on his sister megan his father and myself, not to mention Eric. because of his epilepsy his classmates are not as freindly as they could be but I think because of his illness they are a little distant, somewhat understandable I suppose but it still makes for a lonely boy. His biologicle father ran out on him when he was born so that also is hard for him. I have since remarried, and his dad is great with him but he still wants to know why his biological father "does not want him!" We just try to make Eric understand that his father does not know what a truely wonderful, smart loving giving, son that he is missing out on, and that it a loss that I would not want on myself. Even with everything that Eric is going through he is still a wonderful child. He is more giving, loving, understanding, helpfull and caring than most adults. I am just hoping that someone out there is in a possition to make this a truelywonderful Christmas for Eric and his family. If anyone out there can help please let me know. Any help will be truely appreciated.. Lots of love, God Bless you through the holidays and the whole year.. A freind always Goofy.
