Single Mom Needs Help - Christmas, Boy 10, Girl 11
Detail Description:
I am a single mom and part-time teacher. I do not receive any type of public assistance. I use all my all resources to pay for my son's medical bills. He has approximately 13 seizures per day. He was pushed from the monkey bars at school on May 26, 2004, and sustained an open fracture to his wrist. The bone never healed properly and now he gets a seizure when it hurts him. His doctors say the seizures occur, because the pain is unbareable. He needs reconstructive surgery to fix his wrist, but the doctors believe he may have a stroke if they perform the surgery. I just want to make him smile. He has really had a rough year. I guess we all have. I had to cut back on my hours to take him to the doctor and hospitals.
